Health Information Manager

Are you an experienced Health Information professional who is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and leading a team? Hodgeman County Health Center is seeking a full-time Health Information Manager to oversee our Health Information Management department and serve as our organization's Privacy Officer.
What You'll Do
Lead the day-to-day operations of the HIM Department
Problem solver
Consistently meets deadlines
Leads by example and can collaborate with other departments across the organization
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory standards, and medical record requirements
Oversee medical records, coding processes, chart completion, and document management
Maintain expertise in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and HCPCS coding, ensuring accurate coding practices and regulatory compliance
Knowledge in Critical Access Hospital billing and RHC billing
Supervise billing staff and departmental operations
Maintain departmental quality metrics and reporting
Develop and implement department policies and procedures
Provide HIPAA and compliance education for employees
Collaborate with providers and department leaders to support quality patient care
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management
RHIA or RHIT required. CCS credential preferred
Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and HCPCS coding, health information management principles, and medical record documentation
Strong knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and electronic health record systems
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage multiple priorities

Cook/Food Service Associate

Hodgeman County Health Center is looking for a Cook to join our Dietary team. If you enjoy cooking, take pride in serving good food, and like being part of a team that cares about the people it serves, we would love to hear from you!
As a Cook, you will help prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for our patients, residents and employees while helping create a welcoming mealtime experience.
What You'll Do
Prepare and cook meal items according to recipes and the facility's menu.
Prepare and serve meals in a timely, appealing, and safe manner.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe.
Properly store food and supplies.
Assist with inventory and maintaining adequate food and supply levels.
Work as part of the Dietary team and assist with other food service duties as needed.
Bring a willingness to learn, help others, and contribute to a positive team environment.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous cooking or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
Ability to read and follow recipes and written instructions.
Dependable and willing to learn.
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving food service supplies.

Environmental Services Technician

The Environmental Services Technician plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. This position directly supports patient care by maintaining hospital cleanliness standards that promote healing, comfort, and infection prevention. Key Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces following hospital protocols
Support infection prevention by using proper cleaning techniques, products, and PPE
Turn over patient rooms efficiently to support timely admissions and discharges
Collect and dispose of waste, including regulated medical waste, according to policy
Restock supplies in assigned areas
Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply needs promptly
Interact courteously and professionally with patients, visitors, and coworkers
Follow all hospital safety, confidentiality, and compliance standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is helpful but not required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
